Major losses of the Ukrainian army

Russian Defense Minister, Shoigu said Ukrainian army troops suffered “substantial damage” as a result of the Russian special operation. In a video conference, he said:

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces have suffered significant damage… Air supremacy has been won. The air force and the air defense system were practically destroyed… The naval forces of the country ceased to exist. Significant losses were suffered by all ground and airborne formations – assault troops

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 123 out of 152 aircraft were destroyed along with 77 out of 149 helicopters, and 152 out of 180 long and medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems.
