| Тот вечерний несказанный свет. | That evening unspeakable light. |
| Пишут мне, что ты, тая тревогу, | They write to me that you, concealing your anxiety, |
| Загрустила шибко обо мне, | were very sad about me, |
| Что ты часто ходишь на дорогу | That you often go to the road |
| В старомодном ветхом шушуне. | In your old-fashioned dress. |
