Друзья! настал и новый год!	Friends! The New Year has come!
Забудьте старые печали,	Forget the old sorrows,
И скорби дни, и дни забот, And the days of grief, And the days of worries,	And the days of grief, worries,
И всё, чем радость убивали;	And all that killed joy;
Но не забудьте ясных дней,	But do not forget the bright days,
Забав, веселий легкокрылых,	The fun, light-winged joy,
Златых часов, для сердца милых,	Golden hours, dear to the heart,
И старых, искренних друзей.	And old, sincere friends.

Живите новым в новый год,	Live new in the new year,
Покиньте старые мечтанья	Leave old dreams
И всё, что счастья не даёт,	And everything that does not give happiness,
А лишь одни родит желанья!	And only one will give birth to desires!
По-прежнему в год новый сей	As before, in this new year,
Любите муз и песен сладость,	Love the muses and the sweetness of songs,
Любите шутки, игры, радость	Love jokes, games, joy
И старых, искренних друзей.	And old, sincere friends.

Друзья! встречайте новый год	Friends! Meet the New Year
В кругу родных, среди свободы:	In the circle of relatives, in freedom:
Пусть он для вас, друзья, течёт,	Let it flow for you, friends,
Как детства счастливые годы.	Like the happy years of childhood.
Но средь Петропольских затей	But amidst of Petropolcky’s schemes
Не забывайте звуков лирных,	Don’t forget the sounds of the lyre,
Занятий сладостных и мирных,	Sweet and peaceful activities,
