O Zauberei der ersten Liebe!.. Wieland | Oak groves, where in the silence of freedom Oh the magic of first love! Wieland (allemand) |
Alexander Pushkin |
| Translated by Akirill.com | |
Oak groves, where in the silence of freedom |
I greeted each day with happiness, |
I step again under your vaults, |
| Under your friendly shadow. |
And joy has been resurrected for me, |
And my soul has been stirred again |
By my lost youth, |
The tormenting sweetness of melancholy |
| And the first love of the heart. |
A solitary lover of the muses, |
In the shade of captivating oak groves, |
I was a touched witness |
| Of her infantile amusements. |
She blossomed before me, |
And I, with a dream of wondrous beauty, |
Already guessed |
| Еще неясные черты, | the still unclear features, |
And the thought of her inspired |
The first sound of my flute |
| And taught my heart a secret. |
