Dear readers and subscribers, this week I worked on American, French and Russian poetry as usual and added the collection Les Chansons des rues et des bois (1865) by Victor Hugo as well as poems by Henry Wadsworth Longfello, Anna Akhmatova, and Alexander Pushkin.

I also updated the page Александр Пушкин – Русские сказки и Рассказы and added 3 pages: poems for children (Стихи для детей), poems about friendship (Стихи о дружбе), and poems about love (Стихи о любви) by Alexander Pushkin (Александра Пушкина) as well as 2 pages: poems about love (Стихи о любви), and poems for children (Стихи для детей) by Sergei Yesenin (Сергея Есенина). All the pages added are in Russian.

This week our articles were “Happy Thanksgiving with the poem “Thanksgiving Day” by Emily Dickinson” and a translation and short analysis of the poem “Life is a deception with enchanting melancholy” by Sergei Yesenin with English and Russian side by side with the painting “Autumn morning” by Grigoriy Grigorievich Myasoyedov and a few words about the painter
