First, I want to thank you the readers for their comments, and yes the regular post will definitively come back. Hopefully in a week or two.

I also made an exception and posted Watch the video of Kyiv making an attempt to strike drones on the Kremlin and read the Message from the press service of the Russian President the day before yesterday (may 3).

I updated the pages: Russian Arts, Russian Poetry, and American Poetry and maybe others …

I continued to add poems by James Russell Lowell , a few are: At the Burns Centennial., Auf Wiedersehen, Bankside..

I also continued to add poems to Charles Baudelaire – Шарль Бодлер , a few are: Abel Et Caïn , Allegorie, Brumes Et Pluies in french, and Correspondences, Contemplation, Don Juan in Hades in English

And also (by) Михаила Лермонтова (by Michail Lermontov) a few more are: Арфа , А.А.Углицкой, and Азраил

In the French literature section, I didn’t add new books, but all the books are now presented by chapter or by act with a table of contents.

In the American Literature I created the pages: Harriet Beecher Stowe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Stephen Crane, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Jack London, Herman Melville, and also presented all the books by chapter with a table of contents.

In the English Literature page I created the pages: Daniel Defoe and George Orwell, and no I didn’t have the time to change the books presentation

This week our article was the poem “Gypsies Traveling” by Charles Baudelaire in English and French side by side with the painting “The Vladimir’s Road” (Vladimirka) painted in 1892 by Isaac Levitan.

Cette semaine, j’ai fini d’ajouter des images à “Around the World in Eighty Days” de Jules Verne (en anglais)

J’ai aussi fini d’ajouter des poèmes d’Emily Dickinson , , dont voici quelques-uns :Your riches taught me poverty, Why?, et To March en anglais

J’ai créé la page Poems by James Russell Lowell, et j’ai commencé à ajouter ses poèmes. Quelques-uns sont : Above and Below., Al Fresco., All-Saints., aussi en anglais

J’ai aussi créé la page Charles Baudelaire – Шарль Бодлер et j’ai commencé à y ajouter ses poèmes, en voici quelques-uns :A Celle Qui Est Trop Gaie , A Une Passante, A Une Mendiante Rousse en français, et A Former Life, An Allegory, Beauty en anglais

Une autre page créée cette semaine est Poèmes de Michail Lermontov et j’ai également commencé à ajouter ses poèmes en russe. Quelques-uns sont : Napoleon’s farewell (Прощание Наполеона) , 1831-го июня 11 дня, and Beppo (Беппо)

Dans la section littérature française, j’ai créé les pages:Marie-Catherine Baronne d’Aulnoy, Honoré de Balzac (page vide), Mme De Beaumont, Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo, Jean de La Fontaine, Guy De Maupassant, Prosper Mérimée, Molière, Charles Perrault, Jean Racine (page vide), Edmond Rostand (page vide), Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Jules Verne, Voltaire, et Emile Zola . La plupart des pages contiennent des livres disponibles, mais je travaillerai à en ajouter quelques-uns.

Cette semaine, notre article était le poème “A Tempest” d’Emily Dickinson en anglais et en français côte à côte, accompagné du tableau “Vent Fort” peint en 1856 par Ivan Aïvazovski.

This week I finished to add pictures to “Around the World in Eighty Days” by Jules Verne (in english)

I also finished adding poems by Emily Dickinson , a few are: Your riches taught me poverty, Why?, and To March

I created the page Poems by James Russell Lowell , and began adding his poems. A few are: Above and Below., Al Fresco., All-Saints.

I also created the page Charles Baudelaire – Шарль Бодлер and began adding his poems, a few are: A Celle Qui Est Trop Gaie , A Une Passante, A Une Mendiante Rousse in french, and A Former Life, An Allegory, Beauty in English

Another page created this week is Стихи Михаила Лермонтова (Poems by Michail Lermontov) and I also began adding his poems in Russian. A few are: Napoleon’s farewell (Прощание Наполеона) , 1831-го июня 11 дня, and Beppo (Беппо)

In the French literatures section, I created the pages: Marie-Catherine Baronne d’Aulnoy, Honoré de Balzac (empty page), Mme De Beaumont, Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo, Jean de La Fontaine, Guy De Maupassant, Prosper Mérimée, Molière, Charles Perrault, Jean Racine (page empty), Edmond Rostand (page empty), Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Jules Verne, Voltaire, and Emile Zola . Most of the pages have some books available, but I will work on adding some.

This week our article was the poem “A Tempest” by Emily Dickinson in English and French side by side, accompanied by the painting “Strong Wind” painted in 1856 by Ivan Aivazovsky.

Cette semaine j’ai fini d’ajouter les poèmes d’Alexandre Pouchkine sur la page Стихи Александра Пушкина (Poèmes d’Alexandre Pouchkine) . Je les ai également reliés entre eux pour simplifier la lecture. Quelques-uns sont : “Давыдову“, “Желание славы“, “К другу стихотворцу” et “Сказка о мертвой царевне и о семи богатырях” en russe. Il me reste à ajouter les poèmes qu’il a écrits en français.

J’ai continué à faire avancer notre section de poésie. J’ai créé la page Emily Dickinson – Émilie Dickinson – Эмили Дикинсон et y ai ajouté la plupart de ses poèmes (en anglais), également liés entre eux. Quelques-uns sont : A dew sufficed itself, Autumn, Storm et Shipwreck. Les poèmes manquants devraient être là dans les prochains jours

Cette semaine, notre article était le poème “Ma muse” d’Alexandre Pouchkine en anglais et en français côte à côte, accompagné du tableau “Une Muse” peint en 1887 par Konstantin Korovin

This week I finished to add the poems by Alexander Pushkin on the page Стихи Александра Пушкина (Poems by Alexander Pushkin) . I also linked them together to simplify the reading. A few are: “Давыдову“, “Желание славы“, “К другу стихотворцу” and “Сказка о мертвой царевне и о семи богатырях” in Russian. I still have to add the poems that he wrote in French.

I continued to advance our poetry section. I created the page Emily Dickinson – Émilie Dickinson – Эмили Дикинсон and added most of her poems (in English), also linked together. A few are: A dew sufficed itself, Autumn, Storm and Shipwreck. The missing poems should be here in the next few days

This week our article was the poem “My Muse” by Alexander Pushkin in English and Russian side by side, accompanied by the painting “A Muse” painted in 1887 by Konstantin Korovin.

Cette semaine, j’ai décidé de faire avancer notre section poésie. J’ai créé la page d’ Edgar Allan Poe et ajouté ses poèmes, comme “To Helen“, “The Bells“, “An Enigma” et “Ombre” . La plupart sont en anglais mais il y en a quelques-uns en français.

Puis j’ai créé la page Robert Frost avec ses poèmes comme “An Old Man’s Winter Night“, “Going For Water“, et “My November Guest” en anglais.

J’ai également ajouté Arthur Rimbaud – Артур Рембо et ses poèmes dans la section poésie française sur la page nouvellement créée : Poésie Française – French Poetry – Французская поэзия . Quelques-uns sont : “À la musique“, “Bateau ivre“, et “Marine” en français

Ensuite, j’ai créé la page Стихи Александра ПушкинаPoèmes d’Alexandre Pouchkine) et j’ai commencé à ajouter ses poèmes. Quelques-uns sont: “Евгений Онегин” (Eugène Onéguine ), “Ветер, ветер, ты могуч” (Vent, vent, tu es puissant), et “Наполеон” (Napoléon)en russe.

Cette semaine, notre article étaitsur le poème “Le Corbeau” d’Edgar Allan Poe en anglais et en français côte à côte

This week I decided to advance our poetry section. I created the page of Edgar Allan Poe and added his poems, like “To Helen“, “The Bells“, “An Enigma” and “Ombre” . Most are in English but there are a few in French.

Then I created the page Robert Frost with his poems like “An Old Man’s Winter Night“, “Going For Water“, and “My November Guest” in English.

I also added Arthur Rimbaud – Артур Рембо and his poems in the french poetry section on the newly created page: Poésie Française – French Poetry – Французская поэзия A few are: “À la musique“, “Bateau ivre“, and “Marine” in French

Then I created the page Стихи Александра Пушкина (Poems by Alexander Pushkin) and began adding his poems. A few are: “Евгений Онегин“, “Ветер, ветер, ты могуч“, and “Наполеон” in Russian.

This week our article was the poem “The Raven” by Edgar Allan Poe in English and French side by side

Cette semaine j’ai créé la page Jules Verne, et ajouté 2 livres: Le Tour du Monde en Quatre-Vingts Jours (en français, et illustré), Around the World in Eighty Days (en anglais).

J’ai également créé la page Беляев, Александр Романович (Belyaev, Alexandre Romanovitch) dont on dit qu’il est le Jules Verne russe, et y ai ajouté les livres suivants: Голова профессора Доуэля ( La tête du professeur Dowell), Остров погибших кораблей (L’Île des navires perdus), Человек-амфибия (L’homme amphibie) (illustré).

J’ai aussi ajouté la conjugaison du verbe russe пла́кать/запла́кать (pleurer) aux verbes de nos Private Russian Courses (cours particuliers de russe)

Cette semaine, notre article était le tableau “Parmi les vagues” d’Ivan Aïvazovski

This week I created the page Jules Verne, and added 2 books: Le Tour du Monde en Quatre-Vingts Jours (in French, and illustrated), Around the World in Eighty Days (inEnglish).

I also created the page Беляев, Александр Романович (Belyaev, Alexander Romanovich) who is said to be the Russian Jules Verne, and added the following books: Голова профессора Доуэля (Professor Dowell’s Head), Остров погибших кораблей (The Island of Lost Ships), Человек-амфибия (Amphibious Man) (illustrated).

I also added the conjugation of the Russian verb пла́кать/запла́кать (to cry, weep) to the verbs of our Private Russian Courses

This week our article was the the painting “Among The Waves” by Ivan Aivazovsky
