Dear readers and subscribers, this week I had a wonderful time exploring American, French and Russian poetry, adding delightful poems in these three languages that showcase the diverse cultural expression and rich literary heritage inherent in each tradition. In addition, diving into French poetry allowed me to appreciate its lyrical beauty and romantic nuances that have inspired countless generations. Likewise, the depth and emotion captured in Russian poetry resonate profoundly, often echoing the complexities of life and the human experience. I also continued our exciting series on Ivan Ivanovich Shishkin, highlighting his stunning painting “Park in Pavlovsk”, which beautifully encapsulates the serene essence of nature and the masterful technique employed by Shishkin. Each brushstroke in this piece tells a story, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the tranquility and splendor of the natural world.
